These questions are respectfully raised in hope you will consider if MANA can possibly escape both the militarism and social violence of the colonial occupiers and the lethal aspects of the Hawaiian legacy. Is a future “Nonkilling Hawai‘i ” possible ? (No Hawaiians killing other Hawaiians or outsiders in the world–and no outsiders killing Hawaians ). A society exemplifying Nonkilling Aloha with all its other cultural virtues to the world and influencing by its example nonkilling global transformation in the century ahead?
